Ornament Storage

A question that I always hear about is what do you use to store your ornaments. Everyone starts off by using the Radko gift boxes that usually come with the Radko ornaments, but after your have collect over 30 ornaments then storing them becomes impossible and very space consuming. I chose to use the TreeKeeper brand TK-10708-RS. I can adjust the tray dividers to fit any size ornament and they stack and lock very well. I also get asked alot about using tissue paper or shred. Fist I want to say that no matter what you use IT MUST BE ACID FREE! I use acid free shred and pack the ornaments in their divided compartments, see the picture below. What do you use to store your ornaments?

I cannot THANK YOU enough for introducing us to the Treekeeper brand for ornament storage. We have now transferred our complete collection into either the TK-10708-RS model or the TK-10727-RS model. As you mentioned about, the TK-10708-RS is the fully adjustable model allowing you to adjust the compartments as needed. We went ahead and also purchased several of the TK-10727-RS models. These use a heavy duty cardboard type dividers and come with no soft, cushioning material like the TK-10708-RS. I went ahead an added material to this unit and it is working out great. My photos below were taking before adding the acid free shred. I also pulled the material away from the sides to show it…
